Our rangers at Kamuthe Community Wildlife Conservancy (KCWC) have completed training on EarthRanger data collection and wildlife monitoring.

The training equipped the KCWC rangers with the tools and skills to track wildlife, respond to threats, and make data-informed decisions for a healthier ecosystem.

This marks a major step forward towards tech-driven conservation and comes right on the heels of the development of the Kamuthe Conservancy Management Plan.

The training was financially supported by Save Giraffes Now, with technical support from Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Kenya Wildlife Conservancies Association (KWCA) and The Nature Conservancy.

“The training is a major step forward in tech-driven conservation in the Kamuthe and larger north-eastern region of Kenya” – Ibrahim Daud Arale, Head of Scouts, Kamuthe Community Wildlife Conservancy
